How to start new film w/o bundle?

Hi

I'm on a MacBook Pro. I notice things can run slower the bigger my library gets. What I want to do is reduce what my ram has to take notice of.

I would like to start a new film without a bundle. How is that done?

Can other films use that folder as a foundation without having to use everything in the folder like fcpx uses everything in a library bundle?

To me, this is a big drawback to a fab app. Where one can't choose what the film project has in it's data base. I wish I could take stuff 'offline' when I want, and able to relink as needed.

Not to mention, because sequences are now called projects, it screws up talking about the film 'project', so there's a lot of silly work arounds. Irritating.
